最近 Motorola 推出了多款高規格的智能手機，例如最新的 Nexus 6 及 DROID Turbo 便採用了 2K 螢幕及 3 GB RAM 等極強配置。不過今日有消息指他們有意再推出一部規格更強的新款旗艦機，當中更會配備前所未有的 4 GB RAM。

據 Motorola 內部人士所透露的消息，他們將會於明年中推出一款全新的 DROID 系列 phablet 旗艦機，其外型將會與 Nexus 6 十分相似，不過規格卻會比現時其他 Android 機強勁得多。有傳聞指該部新機將會採用 5.9 吋 2K 螢幕及 Qualcomm 最新的 Snapdragon 810 處理器，此外亦會配備現時最頂級的 4 GB RAM，以便充分展示 Snapdragon 810 的 64-bit 功能。
