大家都知道男人總是喜歡年輕的女人，不過《Dataclysm》一書提供了真實的證據，說明任何年齡段的男人總是最容易被20歲出頭的女子吸引。

根據騰訊科技報導，《Dataclysm》作者是克里斯蒂安·魯德爾(Christian Rudder)，他也是約會網站OkCupid的聯合創始人。魯德爾引用該網站的資料說明了不同年齡段的女性和男性最受什麼樣異樣的吸引。

無論什麼年齡，男性總是說20歲出頭的女人最漂亮，而女性則最容易受到同年齡段男性的吸引。

為了製作這些圖表，魯德爾查看了OkCupid用戶的喜好。女性對男性的欣賞通常隨著年齡的增長而變化，而男性對異性的欣賞則停留在20多歲。

不過這些資料還有另外一層含義。盡管任何年齡段的男性都受年輕女子的吸引，但他們發資訊最頻繁的還是與自己年齡相近的女性，女性同樣如此。

不過女性年齡越大，越難找到對象。魯德爾表示，男性隨著年齡的增長，總是想找比自己年輕的女子，而且他可以接受的異性年齡上限只是比自己象徵性地大一點。
