台中市長選舉今（27）日上午進行選舉號次抽籤，胡志強首先抽籤，就抽中一號籤王。胡志強表示，之前連續三任市長，從來就沒有抽中過「一號」，但是每次都當選。這次頭一次抽到一號，象徵台中市永遠「排第一」。

胡志強上午在青年軍以及國民黨青工會的陪同下，親自前往抽籤，聲勢浩大。當胡抽中籤王「一號」時，在場支持群眾也開心喊出「強棒出擊，一定當選」。

胡志強表示，從1996年參選國大代表，之後連續三任市長，從來就沒有抽中過「一號」，但是每次都當選，號碼本身沒有任何意涵，不過大家都喜歡籤王，這次抽到一號，象徵台中市永遠「排第一」。相信選民的智慧，他會全力以赴，11月29日的民調，奪得勝利，「台中市永遠是籤王」。
