【上下游新聞】生態保姆陳美惠 經濟、保育並存

屏東縣這幾年可說是國內生態旅遊的模範亮點，無論是台26線墾丁國家公園旁社頂部落的「梅花鹿尋蹤」，或是台24線末端守護魯凱聖地「大小鬼湖」的霧台鄉阿禮部落生態旅遊，透過屏東科技大學社區林業研究室為國境之南規劃打造的山海遊程，在保育界或生態旅遊界，都是有口皆碑，也讓墾丁國家公園管理處與農委會林務局分別因為社頂部落與阿禮部落的成功案例，獲得民國97年與102年的國家永續發展獎。

一般人常以為生態保育與經濟發展是對立的概念，但屏東縣社頂部落與阿禮部落發展生態旅遊的例子，卻證明在堅守生態保育的核心價值下，一樣能發展永續的經濟行為。突破這種二元對立困境的推手，是屏東科技大學森林系副教授陳美惠。（上下游記者汪文豪/報導）
