恐怖組織「伊斯蘭國」（Islamic State）斬首日本資深記者後藤健二，後藤妻悲痛表示「仍以夫為榮」。

據《中央社》報導，後藤妻城後倫子接受Sky News採訪表示，「得知夫死訊深感悲痛，他不僅是我摯愛丈夫、2個孩子父親，亦是世界上許多人的兄弟、朋友」。

城後倫子還說，對於丈夫深入戰亂地區，致力傳達難民訊息給世界的行為感到驕傲，「我以丈夫為榮」。最後城後倫子向曾支持丈夫的各界人士，表達感謝。
