周二系列的經濟數據，包括第三季GDP成長達5%，均不足以撼動聯準會(Fed)的政策立場。預期Fed仍將延至明年夏季，才會調高短期利率。

「周二系列數據中，是否有讓Fed改變的部份？我的答案是沒有，」Tufts大學經濟學家貝宋(Brian Bethune)說。

BMO資本公司分析師郭地瑞(Sal Guatieri)表示同意：「這些數據突顯，經濟並非必然有因果關係。」

美國第三季成長創11年最快速度，但通貨膨脹趨勢，卻轉離了Fed的2%目標。政府公布，11月核心通貨膨脹較去年同期僅上升1.4%。

「這項低通貨膨脹數據，迫使Fed按兵不動，」郭地瑞說。

貝宋說，第三季經濟的強勁成長率，有所誤導。美國經濟並未達到3%的成長速度，未來九個月，可能有所減緩。

過去四季，美國經濟成長率為2.7%。

「我認為，2015年上半年，經濟成長仍將良好，但不會像第三季般強勁，」貝宋說。
