英國一位藝術家用舊的七巧板拼圖搭造出一個1.2公尺高的大象，這是為英格蘭和蘇格蘭的5所醫院募善款的慈善活動的一部分。

中新網據外媒報導，這項慈善活動規定，每次有公眾捐出一個舊的七巧板拼圖，這些醫院就能收到一個新的七巧板拼圖。

受益於這一慈善活動的5家醫院是倫敦的大奧爾門德醫院、伯明罕哈特蘭德醫院、皇家曼切斯特兒童醫院、皇家愛丁堡兒童醫院和布里斯托醫院。

這位拼出這頭彩色大象的藝術家是英格蘭南部伯恩茅斯的娜塔麗‧蓋伊。蓋伊女士用308個七巧板拼圖拼出了這頭大象，希望能在拍賣會上售出，拍賣到的錢將用作慈善事業。

七巧板拼圖的善款將被捐給慈善組織『共同度過短暫一生』(Together For Short Lives)，這是一個支持患危及生命疾病和不能活到成年的那些兒童的慈善機構。

蓋伊女士此前已經為慈善組織募集過120000英鎊以上的善款。
