美國總統歐巴馬與中國大陸國家主席習近平在APEC會晤，再度提到台灣。美國兩岸學者葛來儀指出，歐巴馬的訊息很簡單，美國對台政策沒有改變。

華府智庫戰略暨國際研究中心（CSIS）亞洲資深顧問葛來儀（Bonnie Glaser）認為，中國大陸領導人與美方在亞太經合會（APEC）領袖會議會晤時幾乎都會提到台灣，美國總統也會不斷重述美方政策，歐巴馬在2次歐習會的訊息很簡單，就是美國對台政策沒有改變。

領袖代表、前副總統蕭萬長在北京出席APEC領袖會議期間，與美國國務卿凱瑞（John Kerry）會談。葛來儀指出，歐巴馬上台後就已建立這項慣例，台美高層在APEC會晤可能在小布希執政時期就已進行，只是未對外公開。

行政院大陸委員會主任委員王郁琦與大陸國務院台灣事務辦公室主任張志軍在APEC進行王張會，雙方6度會談，葛來儀認為，雙方應聚焦在互設辦事處與台灣參與區域經濟整合等議題上。(中央社)
