第13屆卓越新聞獎　蘋果入選4項

第13屆卓越新聞獎今下午公佈，《蘋果日報》共有4件作品入選，分別是1件調查報導獎、3件新聞攝影獎。

入圍調查報導獎的「灌水牛肉真相調查報導」，係《蘋果》於今年6月6日自頭版以降6個版面，大幅報導灌水牛肉真相，揭發政府年花近4億元在全台14家屠宰場把關，始終查無所獲的事實。

《蘋果》自今年2月起花3個多月時間深入調查，4度直擊全國第2大牛隻屠宰場新北市福伯屠宰場，對牛隻屠體灌水增重惡劣欺騙消費者，流向北部各大攤商及餐廳，年獲暴利近4千萬元；其間記者還被當成小偷銬進警局，卻沒因此放棄，堅持採訪蒐集到更多證據、終於完成報導。
