詛咒？父子警察相隔26年竟同日殉職

美國加州一對警察父子，先後在執勤時殉職，只是造化弄人，兩人竟相隔了26年、在同一天因為報效社會而捐軀。

加州副警長小戴維斯(Michael Davis Jr.)當地時間周五(24日)追捕一對殺警冷血槍手，歹徒逃走期間向警方開槍，擊中小戴維斯和他的拍檔。賊鴛鴦之後遭警方生擒。

小戴維斯被擊中後立即送醫救治，可惜回天乏術。他殉職當天，恰巧是他父親逝世26周年忌日，為家人帶來雙重的悲痛。小戴維斯任職警察18年，遺下妻子及4名孩子。

有同袍傷心地說︰「我知道有些人心裏會想︰我寧願你們殺死嫌犯。不，我們不能這樣做，我們和罪犯不同。」（於慶中／綜合外電報導）
