黃金期貨經歷二天跌勢後，周五反彈上揚。紐約一名醫生感染伊波拉消息傳出，引進了避險買盤。

紐約12月黃金期貨上漲2.70美元，或0.2%，收於每盎司1231.80美元。本周，黃金下跌0.6%。12月白銀走高2美分至每盎司17.18美元。

Craig Spencer醫生近來前往非洲伊波拉疫區，經該病毒檢驗呈陽性，已接受隔離治療。

本周，因股市與其他風險性資產價格上漲，黃金因而受到壓力。風險胃口上升，削弱了黃金的避險吸引力。

周四，美國公布初次申請失業金與房屋數據屬利多，且中國與歐洲製造業數據轉佳，股市因而上漲，黃金則下跌。

其他金屬交易中，1白金下跌4.10美元至每盎司1250.90美元。12月鈀金上漲1.60美元至每盎司780.90美元。

12月銅持平於每磅3.04美元。
