環保金爐不環保　居民跪求媽祖主持公道

環保金爐不環保！苗栗縣著名的白沙屯拱天宮，去年斥資上千萬新設的環保金爐，因焚燒大量金紙產生的煙塵、異味及整天轟轟轟的低頻噪音，讓社區居民飽受困擾。今天下午2時許，20多位居民拉白布條，沿社區道路徒步抗議，甚至在廟前跪求「媽祖婆」主持公道；住戶李文祥說，我們只是很單純請香客們評評理，希望廟方能有誠意，儘速出面解決。拱天宮管委會總幹事陳春發表示，近期內會請廠商協助改善，直到符合環保局監測標準。(吳傑沐／苗栗報導)
