Lite-On Technology January revenues down on month, up on year

EMS provider Lite-On Technology on February 9 reported consolidated revenues of NT$18.975 billion (US$599 million) for January, decreasing by 7.15% on month but increasing by 7.04% on year.
Revenues from IT product lines including power supplies used in cloud computing servers and mobile devices, PC peripherals and server chassis accounted for 49% of the consolidated revenues and grew on year by 16%, those from opto-electronic product lines including LED devices, LED lighting products and CCMs (compact camera modules) for 27% and rose by 4%, those from SSDs (solid-state drives) and optical disc drives for 16%, Lite-On Technology said.
Lite-On Technology expects consolidated revenues for the first quarter of 2015 to fall on quarter by about 15% due to off-season effects.
