統一獅新球季3名洋投賈斯汀(Justin Thomas)、大衛(David Purcey)、華納(Warner Madrigal)上週已經報到，其中賈斯汀曾當過陽岱鋼日本火腿隊友，他稱讚陽岱鋼是「明星級」球員。

賈斯汀曾在2013年效力日職，去年則效力韓職起亞虎，今年來台加入統一，亞洲職棒經驗豐富，他表示，有了日、韓經驗，對他來台適應會有幫助。

賈斯汀、大衛將扛下獅隊先發一席，兩人都是左投，至於華納則是右投，將以後援為主，三人預計農曆年後才會登板，賈斯汀表示，希望每場都能負擔6到7局，幫助球隊有贏球機會，至於勝投則不是自己可以決定的。

賈斯汀除了跟陽岱鋼當過隊友，以前在美國小聯盟時，也跟羅錦龍、陳鏞基一起打球，他表示，來到這邊很期待球季趕快開始。
