距離隊史最長連敗紀錄只差1場的洛杉磯湖人，30日在主場歷經驚濤駭浪，以123：116擊退東區中央組龍頭芝加哥公牛，終止9連敗。

湖人開局氣勢十足，衝搶積極，來訪的公牛險得有些輕敵，第1節中段雙方就曾差距雙位數，直到第3節尾聲公牛才開始振作。

第4節最後1分21秒，湖人握有9分領先卻無法穩住勝局，Clarkson被公牛的壓迫防守搞到連半場都過不了，湖人前臣Pau Gasol最後11秒補進追平兩分，主場球隊荒唐表現讓全場噓聲四起，雙方加班。

儘管歹戲拖棚，多磨的依舊是好事，第2度延長，湖人Wayne Ellington連得4分開局，Jordan Hill繼續捍衛禁區，終於守住勝果。

Hill攻下全隊最高26分、12籃板，Boozer也有16分、8籃板，Robert Sacre只得9分，但抓9籃板，全隊抓下54籃板，長人陣顯然是止敗關鍵。
