台南二中今29日出戰新光高中，前6局雙方戰成平手，第7局南二中一口氣灌進5分奠定勝基。南二中此役用了8支安打，就打回9分，把握得點圈上有人的打擊機會，終場以9比6擊敗新光。

雙方打線前4局皆靜悄悄的，5上由南二中先馳得點，新光在下半局給予回應，靠著保送與顏駿丞、劉殷齊的安打攻下3分，要回領先。6上南二中再啟攻勢，王品翔擊出2分打點2壘打，把比賽拉回原點。

7上為整場比賽分水嶺，南二中用3支安打與對手的保送灌進5分，將比數拉開為8比3，雖然下半局新光追回3分，南二中又在8上進帳1分保險分。南二中以9比6將本場勝利留在台南。

「怕了一定輸，不怕不一定會輸，所以我選擇不怕對手」此役表現亮眼的王品翔表示。王品翔主投4.2局就送出7次三振，打擊方面也扛下第4棒的重擔，打回了3分。
