位於高雄市左營區的福山里，為全台灣最大的里，人口超過4萬人。選舉人數高達2萬9千人，設有16個投票所！這次選舉共有三名候選人爭取里長的寶座，分別為國民黨籍的萬春賢、無黨籍的姚宗翰以及陳秋霞。

福山里的人數，甚至勝過高雄市的其中21個市轄區，福面積1.8平方公里比鹽埕區的1.4平方公里還要大，福山里同時也擁有73個鄰，也是全國鄰數最多的里。

一百一十二棟住宅大樓林立在1.8平方公里土地上，密度也是全國最高，但生活品質卻絲毫未受影響，里內擁有十五座公園，還鄰近蓮池潭、原生植物園、高雄榮總、高鐵左營站。人口密度高，有的鄰人數即逾千人，比高雄市人口最少的左營區聖西里人還多。
