嘉義縣水上鄉通合大橋附近，今天凌晨發生轎車自撞意外，造成3男2女受傷、車體扭曲變形，所幸5人均無生命危險。

警方表示，這輛轎車凌晨沿嘉168線由西向東行駛，行經下菜園段的通合大橋附近，疑似發生自撞意外。

消防人員據報抵達現場後，發現車體扭曲變形，車上共有5人，其中4人自行脫困，後座1名女性一度受困，經消防人員協助脫困送醫。

警方指出，嘉168線通合大橋是水上通往中庄的主要橋梁，自東西向快速道路（台82線）通車後，車流量頓減，尤其入夜後，少有人行。(中央社)
