【動新聞】驚！　北市東區加油站排致癌物

台北市忠孝東路五段加油站的土壤及地下水竟遭MTBE（Methyl Tert-Butyl Ether，甲基第三丁基醚）污染。

今日出刊的《蘋果》報導，MTBE為無鉛汽油中的主力添加劑，動物實驗證明會導致血癌等癌症，並在美國加州等地禁用。環保署去年抽檢發現全台有23座加油站地下水受MTBE污染，今年初訂出MTBE管制標準後，北市環保局清查發現再多一座、東區的忠孝東路五段中油加油站也受污染，現已開始整治，為全台首例。（胡治言／綜合報導）
