比賽延誤近半個鐘頭，但火箭手感沒退燒，上半場打完以63比46領先。

由於球場漏水的緣故，火箭與巫師第二節比賽暫停約半小時，開打後由林書豪與一票板凳在場上應戰。

在林書豪與板凳群上場時間，火箭近5分鐘時間拿了12分，林書豪一次外線切入，突破Bradley Beal防守放進2分。

巫師將替補逐漸換回主力，但火箭仍將領先的局面維持住，上半場倒數4分多鐘，火箭領先來到12分。

林書豪這一節持續有分數進帳，之後獲得兩罰，跟著又攻籃得手，火箭一陣攻城掠地後，順利取得雙位數領先。

林書豪目前拿12分。
