單身錯了嗎？已婚癌症患者　存活率高2成

【綜合報導】美國哈佛大學研究了75萬名癌症病人，發現已婚病患的存活率，較單身的高20%。身邊有伴侶支持，效果可能比接受化療更好。

英國《每日郵報》報導，研究團隊收集2004至2008年間，被確診患上肺癌、結腸癌、乳癌、淋巴癌、胰臟癌、前列腺癌等，10種不同癌症病人的數據。

研究人員表示，一名細心的丈夫或妻子，有助病人更易及早發現癌症及接受治療，提升打敗癌魔的機會，已婚男性的存活率提升23%，而已婚女性則是16%，癌細胞擴散的機會亦顯著減少了17%，當中又以對頭、頸以及淋巴癌的效果最為明顯。

領導研究的放射腫瘤學家阮約翰(Paul Nguyen)稱，今次的研究結果十分明確，「如果你有朋友或者關心的人患上癌症，只要多點陪伴他們，例如是一起看醫生，幫助他們理解病情及接受治療，很可能會產生不一樣的結果。」
 
研究人員相信，相比單身、分居以及離婚的人士，已婚人士生活得比較開心而且滿足，有助解釋此研究結果。
