連躲兩颱風 P-3C將飛抵屏東

國軍對美採購的P-3C長程定翼反潛機，首架中午將飛抵未來「神鷗基地」所在的屏東空軍基地439聯隊，反潛機將降落在基地裏的南機場，並在下午14時舉行首架飛機飛返接機典禮，典禮除由聯隊長袁啟綱少將主持，並邀請美方工作人員及官兵代表參與。空軍司令部表示：空軍籌購的12架P-3C型反潛機將於民國102年至104年期間陸續返國交機，並進駐於空軍屏東基地，發揮聯合反潛作戰能力及制海最大效能。

這架P-3C反潛機原訂在本月20日至24日間返抵國門，但台灣當時甫遭天兔颱風侵襲，日前停駐關島整補時又遭遇第20號颱風帕布，因而延至今日返台。
