南投山區採茶小貨車翻覆　釀1死4傷

南投縣信義鄉今(31)日發生一起採茶車翻覆意外！一輛載有採茶工的車輛在行經南投信義鄉新中橫公路頭坑路段一處產業道路時，小貨車疑似駕駛不慎翻覆，其中一名77歲老婦人傷重不治，駕駛和另外3名女採茶工則是分受輕傷，送往醫院急救已無大礙。

這起車禍發生在清晨6時左右，南投縣消防局在6時41分接獲報案，一輛載有7名採茶女工的小貨車，在台21線新中橫公路114.5公里處發生車輛翻覆意外，車上8人連同小貨車翻覆到10公尺的山谷中。

所幸車輛翻覆時，有山坡的林木阻擋，減緩車輛墜落山谷的力道，車上8人有3人幸運沒受傷，貨車司機和3名女工僅受輕傷，惟有1名77歲的老婦人，因傷勢嚴重送往竹山秀傳醫院急救時，最後仍宣告不治。

4名傷者在送醫治療後自行離去，而3名未受傷的採茶工則是受到驚嚇，隨後也自行離去。但車輛為何翻覆，警方將深入調查。
