中國大陸全國人民代表大會常務委員會已就香港政制發展作出決定，今後行政長官（特首）可由普選產生，但候選人須經提名委員會過半數提名。

參與人大常委會會議的香港區全國人大代表馬逢國在北京向港媒表示，人大常委會已通過有關決定，重點包括：

一、今後特首可實行普選。

二、如果實行普選，將依照基本法落實，即成立提委會提名候選人；提委會將提名2至3名候選人，每名候選人都需要獲得過半數提委會成員提名。

三、提委會成員人數將參考選舉委員會的人數組成。

四、如果特首未能落實普選，將沿用現有特首選舉模式，即由選委會選出。

五、2016年立法會產生辦法不變，即沿用現有方式。

馬逢國說，有關決定未特別指出2017年特首選舉。但由於下屆特首選舉將於2017年舉行，因此，有關決定所提到的特首選舉，將自2017年起推行。

香港泛民主派方面早已表示，如果2017年特首須過半數提委會委員提名及限定只有2至3人，他們將會發起「占領中環」運動，以表達不滿。(中央社)
