俠骨仁心　醫生雪地行10公里救人

寒流吹襲美國南部，暴風雪影響德州、阿拉巴馬、喬治亞等多個州。在阿拉巴馬州，一名醫生西里奇威(Zenko Hrynkiw)為了做一個緊急腦部手術，在雪地行走10公里，返回醫院救人。

暴風雪令南部民眾措手不及，公路冰封後大塞車，醫生在當地時間28日早上，接到電話要返回醫院開刀，但駕車時因路面冰封受困，手機訊號又差，最終求助無門，醫生只好步行10公里回醫院。

返回醫院後，醫生立即致電護士查詢病人情況，與病患家人商談後立即開刀。最後手術成功。護士稱，如果病人未能及時做手術，相信很可能會死亡。（國際中心／綜合外電報導）
