雲嘉南檢警調首長批通保法 籲重新檢視

「通訊保障及監察法修正案」三讀通過，引起檢警調單位譁然，雲嘉南檢警調下午在台南聯合發表聲明，認為「新法條有許多窒礙難行之處，嚴重影響奉公守法民眾權益，未來將嚴重衝擊社會治安。」南高分檢檢察長張斗輝代表呼籲行政院能提出補救措施，否則台灣治安會繼續沈淪。

雲嘉南檢警調發表聯合聲明，「維持人民秘密通訊與維護社會治安是政府的責任，如何維持平衡，是需要仔細評估審慎考量」、「打擊犯罪、維護社會治安就是維護善良百姓的生命、身體、財產安全，同樣也是維護人權，而打擊犯罪需要合理的偵察工具，過於寬鬆固然不妥，過於緊縮也造成善良百姓受害」；重申修法過程較為倉促，有未盡之處，呼籲相關機關及立法院重新檢視。
