【施旖婕／綜合外電報導】英國有一對情侶，在南非自行駕車觀看野生動物時，不小心打擾正在喝水的大象，結果大象把他們的汽車踢翻。

據英國《每日郵報》報導，30歲布魯克絲(Sarah Brooks)與未婚夫，上周駕車前往南非克魯格國家公園(Kruger National Park)，看到大象在前方喝水，將車輛停在路旁，豈料竟惹怒大象。大象在他們的車輛旁徘徊後，突然攻擊車輛，讓車輛翻轉3周，被移開40公尺。

一對情侶的朋友稱，布魯克絲與未婚夫到當地旅行，慶祝訂婚，以及與未婚夫家人見面。之後布魯克絲受傷送醫治療，現已出院，布魯克絲的未婚夫則沒有受傷。園方工作人員表示，該大象正處於發情期，所以變得具有攻擊性，事後已將牠射殺。
