3.5公尺高芥菜聖誕樹　客家味破表

【黃瑞娟／花蓮報導】客家庄光復鄉大富村為了慶祝聖誕節，村民總動員合力製作3.5公尺高芥菜聖誕樹。社區發展協會理事長許阿益說，社區媽媽們兩個月前就開始栽種芥菜，村民將路標變成骨架，合力掛上399顆芥菜，今日裝上燈飾，耗時整整兩天才完工。大和蔗工的厝理事長蔡岳維說，芥菜是客庄最具代表性的蔬菜，逢年過節餐桌上總少不了這一味，在聖經裡芥菜種籽也象徵信心與希望，當客家遇上基督，碰撞出「芥菜聖誕樹」的靈感火花。
 
客家味破表的芥菜耶誕樹吸引遊客目光，紛紛停下腳步，拿起手機猛拍照，花蓮市陳姓民眾說，從沒看過這麼特別的聖誕樹，真想摘幾片回家煮湯。現場村民表示，芥菜聖誕樹「展期」到24日止，聖誕節前夕要把芥菜全部拆除揉成酸菜，醃製完工後分送給所有居民分享。
