觀光景點配破椅　觀光客看笑話

【蔡智銘／台中報導】台中市三民路與民權路口的珍貴老榕樹旁人行道上的原木坐椅殘破不堪，無法使用，觀光客笑稱來台中前就聽說台中市爛路多，市府還推出「十大爛路票選」活動，覺得很新鮮，沒想到百聞不如一見，連景點的公共設施都很爛，真的好像都沒人管。市議員邱素貞痛批，市府只會花錢辦活動，但基本的公共設施都沒有維護好，讓觀光客看笑話。
 
市府建設局道路養護科長廖坤敏說，這些設施研判是利用城鄉風貌經費建設，並非一般的人行道設施，且規格特殊，當初完工後應該沒有移交給建設局管理，但既然民眾有反映，會派人設法修復。
