CNNMoney.com 28日報導，德國投資銀行Berenberg分析師Andaan Ahmad模仿億萬富豪伊坎(Carl Icahn)寫公開信給蘋果，建議該公司應花錢買下特斯拉(Tesla)，藉跨足汽車業克服智慧型手機營收成長趨緩的瓶頸。

Ahmad認為，自創辦人賈伯斯2年前過世後，蘋果幾乎失去創新的動力，而特斯拉執行長Elon Musk的鬼才可能正是蘋果當前所最需要的，兩公司的結合無疑可為蘋果帶來創新的動能。

這是蘋果近一週以來第2次收到類似的公開信，此前伊坎認為蘋果股價嚴重被低估而寫信要求蘋果執行長庫克應不惜舉債湊足1,500億美元擴大庫藏股規模，並且必須把握時機立即進場買回以拉抬公司股價。

儘管在iPhone 5s發表後，蘋果股價已大幅反彈，但距2012年九月時所創下的702.1美元的歷史高價還有25%的差距，而反觀特斯拉今年股價上則漲逾400%。蘋果當日於美股盤後將公布財報，當日收盤時小漲0.75%至529.88美元。
