橫跨歐亞　馬爾馬雷海底鐵道今通車

【張翠蘭／綜合外電報導】土耳其大城伊斯坦堡，將於29日開通橫跨歐洲、亞洲兩大陸的海底鐵路隧道「馬爾馬雷」（Marmaray），是世上首條洲際海底隧道，位在博斯普魯斯海峽海面下，連結伊斯坦堡橫跨在歐亞大陸的兩端。

工程造價約1230億元台幣，水面下最深達62公尺，隧道總長13.6公里，號稱可抵禦規模9的強震。通車後每天可運輸約150萬人次乘客，從亞洲到歐洲僅4分鐘，它也將是倫敦至北京「絲綢鐵路」的一部分。

雖然終於落成，但尚無法完全通車，伊斯坦堡至亞塞拜然首都巴庫的路段，預計明年完工。
