【短片】俄羅斯打撈起百年最大墜地隕石

【於慶中／綜合外電報導】今年二月有一顆隕石，墜落在俄羅斯烏拉山區，當時有許多民眾目睹劃過天際的熊熊火光，在觸地點附近的大城車里亞賓斯克(Chelyabinsk)更傳出有1600人因為強大的衝擊而受傷。科學家隨後開始搜尋隕石墜落所留下的痕跡，昨天(16日)在打撈團隊努力下，順利從切巴爾庫爾湖(Chebarkul)中成功打撈起當時把結冰湖面打出大洞、重逾570公斤的最大碎片。

潛水人員將這塊碎片吊上磅秤，沒想到顯示出最大荷重570公斤後，磅秤就當場斷裂，估計隕石碎片的準確重量應超過600公斤。這是百年來墜落地球表面最大的隕石留下的碎塊，科學家相信，這塊碎片應該是該次隕石墜落後留下來的最大殘骸。

俄羅斯副總理羅戈津(Dmitry Rogozin)稍早在自己的《臉書》(facebook)表示：「誰能保證下一塊天上掉下來的石頭不會大上100倍？誰又能對天發誓不會再有隕石墜落？我認為，俄羅斯將不得不處理保護地球的問題，提防這些不請自來的外星訪客。」
