《姓名條例》修正　外國人可以外文音譯取名

【徐珮君／台北報導】行政院會通過《姓名條例》修正草案，放寬原住民（少數民族）、外國人取名及被認領者申請改名規定，明定外國人、無國籍人取用中文姓名方式，「姓氏在前、名字在後」，無姓氏者，也可僅登記名字。

草案規定，外國人名字可以外文音譯或中文原名方式為之，例如「凱薩琳」或「詹姆士」等；原住民或少數民族也可依其文化習俗，回復傳統姓名；同時，基於子女最佳利益原則及因應實際改名的需要，也放寬因被認領、被收養或終止收養，除可變更姓氏，也可申請改名。

《姓名條例》原規定「出世為僧尼」或「僧尼還俗」者可申請改名，草案也修正為「因宗教因素」出世或還俗者，均可改名，所有宗教都適用。
