迎接蓮花季 永平工商推出莎梨入菜「南洋風味蓮花餐」

一年一度的蓮花季又到了！餐飲科知名的永平工商，為迎接蓮花季及響應低碳飲食，率先在蓮花季前推出以來自南洋的「莎梨」入菜，由餐飲科5位師傅以拿手廚藝，烹調出十道蓮花餐。校長黃嘉明表示，這十道由多位大廚精心研發出來的蓮花餐食譜也將樂意與餐飲界分享，共同打響桃園縣的蓮花餐。
永平工商的「南洋風味蓮花餐」，是取用觀音鄉民種植的「莎梨」加入食材，種植莎梨的張晉維說，莎梨別名南洋橄欖，是南洋具代表性水果之一，酸中帶甜的滋味，口感像橄欖加青芒果，不管是涼拌還是入菜，都非常爽口。
餐飲科師傅蔡新發說，用莎梨入菜還是第一次，不過效果比預期好，讓料理頗有南洋風味。蓮花餐的食材，不管是莎梨還是蓮花，都以新鮮、現摘，直接送進廚房，達到真正節能減碳。
南洋風味蓮花餐的10道餐名分為：涼拌蓮藕、炸豬肉蓮藕片、十錦蓮子水果湯、炸八寶蓮子鴨、炒鮮蔬、蒸荷葉鱒魚、蓮花雞湯、蓮蓉羊羹、梅汁荷葉方肉、南洋風味蝦。
校長黃嘉明表示，桃園縣連續舉辦多年的蓮花季期間，永平工商餐飲科都持續開發蓮花餐，從最簡單的餐飲加工到創意餐點，十多年來，每年都會有新風味，相當受歡迎。
黃嘉明校長強調，同時更讓全校師生覺得光榮的是，明年的全中運食膳將由永平工商承包，為讓選手吃到更健康的在地食材，餐飲科將全力研發新菜單，屆時一定能讓大全體參賽選手，吃到兼具創意與美味的道地菜色。
