日型燈控制器疑問

我有一組LED控制器，其中有一條線是接大燈正極，大燈打開，控制器可以讓LED減弱亮度。
但我測試了兩組LED，大燈打開，LED都只減弱一秒就回復原本亮度了。
這組控制器的正極與負極是可以直接接在電瓶上，感應電壓來開關的。
但是我正極是接ACC，負極是接車體，所以引擎發動就會亮了。
我的大燈是晶鑽頭燈，根據我爬文的結果，它的正極是白線沒錯，因此控制器的感應線(只有一條)我是接白線沒錯。
附帶一提，我有外掛離電池，本來以為是離電池問題，但是我拆下離電池也沒用！
還是這種的就是必須正負極都接在電池上才有減弱的作用？請問是甚麼原理與原因呢？
