高雄石化氣爆屆滿1個月，高雄市長陳菊今天出席慈濟基金會氣爆祈福會，她重申城市沒有安全，任何經濟發展都是空談。

陳菊表示，氣爆造成民心受創傷難以平復，她感謝慈濟人在災區最前線協助救災，撫慰陪伴、帶給災民平靜，讓高雄人安心。

陳菊說，城市若沒有安全，任何經濟發展都不具意義，她有責任讓高雄更安全，市府也必須具備管理地下石化管線的能力，中央地方攜手合作，讓高雄遠離災難恐懼，建立安定宜居的家園。
