戈蘭高地對峙 菲律賓維和人員全數脫困

菲律賓三軍參謀總長卡塔潘(Gregorio Pio Catapang)今天(31日)表示，70多名菲律賓維持和平部隊已經成功從敘利亞戈蘭高地(Golan Heights)的兩處據點脫困。

屬於蓋達分支的努斯拉陣線(Al-Nusra Front)敘利亞叛軍28日攻占「聯合國脫離接觸觀察員部隊」(UNDOF)的斐濟人員營地，俘擄了43名斐濟維和人員。敘利亞叛軍也包圍了菲律賓維和人員的兩個營地，要求菲律賓人棄械投降但遭到拒絕，雙方持續對峙。

卡塔潘今天在馬尼拉表示，這兩處營地的菲律賓維和人員都已經分別成功脫困，現在已到達安全地方，不再受到威脅。

根據卡塔潘的說法，菲律賓維和人員遭敘利亞叛軍圍困，為了自衛必須以砲火還擊叛軍，在經過7小時的戰鬥後脫困。

卡塔潘形容這是一次「偉大的脫逃」。
