美國女子伊芙·帕克(Eve Parker)為了健康的生活方式，瘋狂減肥，前後共甩肉150磅(約68公斤)，然而其『獨愛胖美人』的未婚夫卻因此離開了她。

環球網據美國《赫芬頓郵報》報導，據悉，帕克最胖時體重350磅(約158公斤)，身高5.3英尺(約162公分)。據她描述，其未婚夫對肥胖的女人十分癡迷，所以帕克決定減肥時，就必須接受這段戀情告吹的後果。

因身體肥胖，帕克患有高血壓、睡眠呼吸中止症。當醫生告知其可能活不過40歲時，她便決定做出改變，就算與未婚夫分手也不在乎。『我知道他不會支持我的，所以這是我做出的最困難的決定。』帕克表示。

如今，帕克只有190磅(約86公斤)，她覺得減肥雖然讓她失去了男友，但也讓她成長了許多。
