台中市副市長蔡炳坤今天自大陸北京傳回喜訊，中市取得東亞青年運動會主辦權。他並表示，中市15個大型運動設施積極興建中。

東亞運動會總會（EAGA）今天宣布，台中市取得第1屆2019年東亞青年運動會，消息傳回台中市，市府及相關體育單位都相當欣喜。

為爭取東亞青年運動會，中華奧會、教育部體育署與台中市政府共組代表團，中華奧會主席林鴻道、台中市副市長蔡炳坤率隊日前赴中國大陸北京市參加東亞運動會總會理事會，獲得肯定。

蔡炳坤指出，台中市政府在申辦期間投注相當多心力，各項基礎建設也積極興建中，包括中正國民運動中心、網球中心等15個大型運動設施，將在未來5年陸續完工。(中央社)
