中新社今天報導，北京警方通報，今年以來破獲刑事案件8萬6000多起，全市刑案破案總量、現案破案總量、侵財案件破案總量、八類重大刑案破案，均達近10年同期最好水準。

新華社則報導，北京警方命案偵破率為98.54%，命案總數連續降低，由10年前的每年600餘起，下降至現在不到200起。

根據北京警方公布數據顯示，截至10日，北京警方今年破獲刑事案件比近10年最高的2013年上升15.6%；破獲殺人、綁架等八類嚴重刑案4200餘起，破案率68.5%，創近10年最高。

北京警方表示，在新的偵查機制下，新發命案偵破周期縮短，破案效率顯著提升。2014年，破案周期在3天內的命案，占命案破案總量高達86.44%，2004年時僅58.91%。(中央社)
