【短片】遭拔官　李鴻源08：40親自說明

內政部長李鴻源因拒絕行政院長江宜樺要求轉任政務委員，因此去職；李鴻源將於8時40分在內政部一樓公開說明內閣異動心情。內政部次長蕭家淇上午表示，一早與李鴻源通電話，李的心情還好、表示「階段性任務完成、就回學校」。蕭詢問，是否內政部工作沒做好？李表示，沒有，也不認為受到新戶政系統風波連累。
 
外傳蕭家淇是接任部長人選之一，蕭低調表示，「我下禮拜還是次長，未來沒有人知道、都是長官決定;不要亂問、我也不會亂講。」追問江李心結？蕭說，李鴻源沒有談到任何這方面事情，情緒還好，長官與部屬的互動、政策一致，兩人各種場合互動都很自然，也是同事也是長官。李鴻源原訂今天上午拜會立法院，爭取立委對政策支持，不過行程尚可能有變數。（王家俊／台北報導）
