由傳奇影業與華納兄弟公司共同出資拍攝的超級巨獸《哥吉拉》電影，闊別大銀幕十年，預計今年五月於全球同步上映，上周發出最終版海報，並且於今（25）日公開第二支長版預告片，許多粉絲聽到經典叫聲與最新造型曝光都格外興奮。

在最新曝光的預告片中，幾乎完全以布萊恩克蘭斯頓緊張、絕望、氣憤到全身顫抖的口白為主，輔以日本影帝渡邊謙對事件的陳述，從兩人的對白到震耳欲聾的哥吉拉吼叫聲特別讓人感覺充滿劇情張力。

這部由英國新起之秀導演蓋瑞斯愛德華斯所執導全新《哥吉拉》，目前電影對這之經典大怪獸的風貌仍屬最高機密，不過從導演接受日本東寶對《哥吉拉》的整體設定，並且在預告片的放映過程中，讓觀眾看見牠背部明顯凸起的骨板、碩大無朋的身軀，強而有力的尾巴，破壞力十足的爪子，直到最後的正面驚鴻一瞥全身與震耳欲聾吼叫聲，眼尖的粉絲可發現到完全符合當年「哥吉拉」的經典設定！

導演葛瑞斯艾德華斯自許這次除了巨獸強大的破壞力能滿足《哥吉拉》的死忠粉絲外，牠所連帶引發的災難、人心的恐慌與親人間的生離死別，都將在電影中表露無疑，在所有工作人員的通力合作下，《哥吉拉》將呈現出重量級災難電影的格局，正式宣告暑假電影大戰開始。
