文件顯示，伊坎在2013年第四季度中將其所持蘋果公司的股票增持22%，令這只股票在其股票投資組合中位居第三。但該文件披露的這一信息並非新聞，原因是伊坎已在今年1月底發布了相關的消息。伊坎此前曾敦促蘋果公司將其股票回購計劃的規模擴大500億 美元，但這一提議遭到了頗具影響力的代理權顧問公司機構股東服務(institutional shareholder services)的反對，促使伊坎撤回了該提議。
