口袋警察App　遇險可即時求救

【國際中心／綜合外電報導】南美委內瑞拉的治安差，根據非政府組織的統計，當地謀殺率高居全球之冠，平均每10萬人有79人死於非命。為了讓民眾遇險時能儘速獲救，當地出現一款免費的緊急呼救App。

法新社18日報導，委國國會議員桑契斯和學者合作，研發出「口袋警察」（pocket police）App，它能在緊急狀況時當作「緊急呼救按鈕」，即時讓親友知道使用者碰上危險了。

桑契斯解釋，這種App可預設3名聯絡人的手機號碼和電子郵件，一旦碰到緊急狀況，按下螢幕上的按鈕，聯絡人就會收到附有地理參考位置訊息的電郵或簡訊。桑契斯說，它還能提供求救者最後所在地的詳細資訊，有助於警方處理綁架案和命案。不過，目前這種App僅適用黑莓手機。
