28歲男子王聖貿愛慕大他11歲的公司女同事，2年前酒後約她外出看星星，藉機對她性侵得逞，遭林女怒打耳光後，王竟失控將林女勒斃，棄屍曾文溪河床，最高法院審酌王犯後坦承犯行，並當庭向被害人父母下跪道歉，昨依殺人、性侵等罪，將他判處無期徒刑確定。
