全球第一座 倫敦地鐵歷史悠久

【大紀元1月19日報導】（中央社記者黃貞貞倫敦19日專電）倫敦地鐵2013年慶祝行駛150週年，是全球第一座地鐵，目前共有11條路線、270個車站，歷史最悠久的是1863年開始營運的大都會線（Metropolitan Line）。

倫敦地鐵（Underground）暱稱Tube，標誌為紅色圓圈為底，上面是藍底白字的Underground，它是大倫敦地區居民每日的主要交通工具，由市中心開始向外，共劃有6個區，依距離收費，上下班的尖峰時間票價也較貴。

倫敦地鐵每天約清晨5時開始營運，直到次日凌晨1時，倫敦市長強生（Boris Johnson）去年11月21日宣布，包括北線（Northern Line）、皮卡底里線（Piccadilly Line）、維多利亞（Victoria）、中央線（Central Line）及朱比利線（Jubilee Line）等都將週末營運24小時，但到2015年所有的售票室都將關閉，並刪減人力。

倫敦地鐵並沒有對乘客搭車有飲食限制，但限制飲酒，避免民眾酗酒鬧事。
