【簡嘉宏／綜合外電報導】普受全球歡迎的飲料可口可樂傳出內含有過量糖份，一罐可樂含6茶匙糖（約35克，7顆方糖），相當於一杯三合一咖啡，或者半個牛角麵包的糖份，一罐500ml裝可樂的糖份更高達10.5顆方糖，可口可樂歐洲區總裁昆西（James Quincey）對此坦承，並允諾將改良配方。

昆西日前接受電視訪問時承認，很多顧客都不清楚飲料中含高熱量的程度，其實這些熱量對人體來說並非必要。他表示將改良相關成分配置，讓消費者更健康。根據英國的飲食建議，每日人體所攝取的添加糖不應多於50克（約10粒方糖），但1罐500亳升的可樂便已含有10.5顆方糖，戲院中販賣的大杯可樂更含44茶匙糖份（約50顆方糖），明顯超標。
