海燕重創 菲律賓成長受阻

菲律賓財政部長布里斯瑪(Cesar Purisima)今天(28日)表示，菲律賓經濟今年第三季比去年同期成長7.0%；但是一系列的暴風雨卻阻遏了成長，而這個月的超級強颱海燕(Haiyan)，更將減緩未來的成長動能。

菲律賓是亞洲經濟表現最好的國家之一，今年全年的經濟成長可望超越7.0%；但是，布里斯瑪表示，海燕颱風預料會將菲律賓第四季的成長砍掉0.8個百分點。

儘管如此，菲律賓總統艾奎諾三世(Benigno Aquino)的政府仍然表示，菲律賓經濟依然穩健，今年第三季是連續第五季出現7.0%或以上的成長。

雖然菲律賓今年第三季成長7.0%，但是已經略低於經濟師的預期，也不如第二季的成長7.6%，以及第一季的成長7.4%。

海燕重創菲律賓，根據已經證實的數據，有5,500多人死亡，400萬人的家園受損或遭到摧毀，100萬漁民和農民失去他們的生財工具。
