花縣府發起所得一日捐 資助菲律賓孩童

菲律賓日前受到海燕颱風侵襲，花蓮縣政府有感於花蓮也是長期受到颱風的威脅，發起所得一日捐的愛心捐贈，費用交由世展會資助受到風災的孩童。

花蓮縣政府今天舉行「所得一日捐-認養資助菲律賓海燕風災孤兒」，並在菲律賓著台代表白熙禮的見證下，將420萬資助款交給世界展望會。

花蓮縣長傅 ?萁表示，海燕颱風造成菲律賓上千萬人民受到災害，而花蓮長年受到颱風侵襲，最能感同身受，因此發起所得一日捐，資助100名遺孤，將長達五年，費用總共為420萬。也期望將愛送到菲律賓，儘速恢復兩地友誼情感，讓海上漁民安心作業。

世展會國內事工處陳維智表示，非常感謝縣府這筆善款的協助，目前在菲律賓依舊處於交通、通訊中斷的情況，未來將在菲律賓成立兒童關懷中心，提供安全、營養、教育等服務。
