按照法規騎車，下場就是容易造成車禍...？

今天下午在中和橋和路口，小弟與計程車發生車禍。
小弟直行於橋和路，計程車也直行於橋和路。
而當到橋安街口時，前方號誌轉黃燈，小弟也跟著剎車。
亮紅燈時，小弟已經依法將大型重型機車比照自小客車停於停等區前。
而沒想到這台計程車，同時打方向燈外切，欲變換至直行車道。
卻沒意料到"大型重型機車"不得停進"機車停等區"內，而停在格外，剎車不及，造成此次追撞。
所幸車速不快，且也沒有造成車損，只有國家租用給市民的紙糊鋁製車牌歪斜而已。

當下其實計程車司機也知道是追撞，他也很有禮貌的道歉。
( 很難得台灣開計程車的有這麼有禮貌的了...好感動啊！ )
事後也當場留對方資料，通報警察，並留雙方資料給警察後結案。
明天也就去車行把台灣的新式紙糊樣式大型重型機車車牌敲平就沒事情了。

而晚上吃飯時就在想，這個事情的肇事原因是什麼？

1.汽車駕駛是否無法立即分辨是重機，也就是無法立即分辨是否前方機車應停於機車停等區內或外？
2.體積比普通重型機車大不上多少的大型重型機車，是否停進機車停等區比較安全呢？
